UPDATE: Fitbit OS 2.0 has been released to 100% of users.
Hi all!
I am excited to announce the release of Fitbit OS 2.0! (Firmware Version: 27.32.4.19)
We've started to roll out this update to 10% of Ionic users. This is a progressive rollout, and all Ionic users can expect to have it within a few weeks. We roll out releases in phases as a cautionary measure so that we can monitor performance closely and make adjustments if needed.
What’s New
Fitbit Today:
Introducing Fitbit Today, an updated on-device dashboard that keeps you informed about all of your health and fitness data. Receive action-oriented and personalized content with daily and weekly health and fitness stats, historical activity, exercise summaries, and tips and tricks for using the Fitbit platform. Swipe up from the clock face to open the Fitbit Today dashboard.
Ionic users, your daily stats have moved from the Today app to Fitbit Today.
Music:
You can now add Deezer playlists to your Fitbit watch. For more information on setting up your Deezer playlists on Ionic, check out this article.
What’s Changed
Fitbit Watch Interface:
We made some updates to the way you interact with your Fitbit watch:
To learn more about these changes, open the Tips app on your watch and follow the tutorial.
Instructions for updating your Ionic can be found here.
I recommend updating your Ionic over a home Wi-Fi network as this can greatly reduce the time it can take to get set up. For more information on connecting your Ionic to Wi-Fi, check out this article.
If you run into any trouble updating your Ionic, I can also recommend reviewing these troubleshooting tips.
Looking forward to hearing everyone's feedback on the latest release. If you have any questions, feel free to let me know!

Seems to be an issue with connection of Fitbit Flyer headphones to the Ionic since the latest firmware update. Worked fine before. Updated to new firmware last week and everything seemed good until this morning when I tried to use the Fitbit Flyer headphones to listen to music I had on the Ionic. Sound frequently and randomly disconnects and reconnects. When I connect the Fitbit Flyer to my phone, everything works fine, so it is not the Fitbit Flyer. Anyone else experiencing this?

My app gets stuck searching for my Fitbit and never moved past that screen. This is also preventing me from being able to sync my Fitbit. Help, please.

I have tried all the suggestions to get the watch to update and nothing works. I've been working on it for 3 days. Bought it brand new and have not been able to use it at all.

I have been having issues with my syncing. I've noticed that it will take a delayed amount of time for it to sync. Usually about 5+ minutes or so. I used to have a Surge for 2-3 years, and it would be almost an instant sync. Not sure if this is normal or not.
My other issue is now with the new OS update. I very much so, do not like it. Now I have to keep the hourly reminder on, to have it displayed. I did not have to leave the reminder on, before the update. Also getting to the "Today" screen is a bit annoying as well. It adds a few extra steps, especially when the screen is not 100% responsive. Also the screen lag is extra annoying, when the screen doesn't respond the first few times! It was much easier/simple to just press the side button to get to the screen.
Please allow a way to revert back to the old OS, for those who do not prefer the "new and improved" OS. In my opinion, it is NOT IMPROVED!! /rant over.

No other bluetooth devices. I tried yet a different location over WiFi today. And I had tried bluetooth several times. It's stuck in factory reset and phone doesn't 'see it' either. There's too many people with all kinds of issues and different phones having problems. AND can't back to the old platform. Needless to say, this was a BAD release.

Why don't you see if a RESTART will help. Do it several times if necessary.

Latest firmware download really has messed up my iconic and I am not a happy camper. Can’t see my weather on my phone, laptop or watch. Auto run detect and auto pause Doesn’t work anymore… And yes I had my GPS on… This has happened two times in the last week. When I’m out for a 10 mile run I don’t want to have to think about this crap I just want my freaking watch to work the way it supposed to. I’m not real happy about the look and feel of it but I’ll get over that and get used to it… It’s just these basic functions that should be flawless.

Hello,
Try the following.
Disable all notifications in fitbit app > sync ionic > exit fitbit app > soft reset phone (mine's lumia 950xl, maybe not required in your case) > start fitbit > log in and wait until ionic is connected > enable notifications > sync tracker > test notifications".
Worked in my case.
