Ionic Fitbit not logging anything

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My fitbit has not been logging anything for over 2 weeks now. All firmwares and updates are up to date. I kinda feel limbless without seeing my daily steps and activities?

Any of you come across a solution for this?

Hey @nms595 thanks for bringing this to my attention, it's a pleasure to assist you with your Ionic concern. Welcome to our Community Forums too!

When you say that your Ionic is not logging anything, can you please let me know if your device is recording steps, floors, distance, etc but not syncing this information to your Fitbit account? Or it's not tracking your daily activity at all? In the meantime I receive your answers, please restart your Ionic to refresh its performance. More information and details about your concern will be appreciated.

Keep me posted, I'll be here.

Hi Richard,
Thanks for your reply.
Other than the time, and the default calories, the nothing else gets
logged. No steps, no no exercise minutes, no stairs.

Is the no steps, etc when your looking at your Ionic or your Fitbit App? When you go to Fitbit.com what do you see with step couny?

Hi Rich,

No steps logged on my watch. On the app no steps recorded as well.

All I can see is just the time and date on the watch. Default calories on the app and don't know where it is getting exercise minutes from, but I suppose it is from Strava App (which is authorised) or my Bike computer.

Thanks and regards

I appreciate all the details that were shared with us regarding the inconvenience you're currently experiencing with your Ionic device. To better assist you, can you please let me know f you tried the restart process that was previously suggested? Also, please let me know when was the first time time you experienced this and how many days since then? I recommend you to perform the restart process previously mentioned and change the current clockface of your device.

Hi Rich,
I have done a hard reset and also changed the clock face. Using one of
fitbits own faces.
No logging and can't swipe from the main face of the watch. I can only use
the buttons.
Surely it looks like the watch is done.
Thanks for your help.

Dapo

Have you done a hard reset? This can only be done through settings, help, then Shutdown.

A 2 button restart is a software restart. And not a hardware restart.
