Ionic GPS Connection Issue.

Hi, my ionic is suddenly not connecting to GPS, I can leave it and after a while it defaults back to the main screen, I have factory reset it and still will not connect to GPS. Software version ends in 1.30, any ideas to resolve? Thanks.

Hey @Fontels let me give you a warm welcome to our Community! I'm happy to give you a hand with your Ionic GPS concern. Thanks for factory resetting your device. 

 

I'd like to share with you that the GPS on your device requires a direct path to the satellites to receive their radio transmissions, therefore, there are several reasons why GPS data could be negatively affected.  The accuracy depends on both your environment and the weather; the GPS signal could be affected because you're underground, near many tall buildings, or as a result of atmospheric effects. 

 

I'm aware that you already tried our factory reset procedure but I'd like to suggest you to take a look at all the information here about the requirements, error messages and troubleshooting steps that could help to improve the GPS connection.
