Ionic - GPS cutting out on run

My ionic has stopped working well on runs. It is basing my distance on step count as the gps is constantly stopping and starting (I feel the watch vibrating). When I look at the map created post run it’s just a patchwork off small gps sections with 50% unmapped.

Thanks for the details shared in your post. GPS dropouts can be caused by several things and I recommend reviewing our tips and following the troubleshooting steps in 

 

Additionally, I recommend checking if your Fitbit app is updated to the latest version as updates come with new features and bug fixes: How do I update the Fitbit app?
