I bought a Ionic a few weeks ago for myself. After trialing it for a couple weeks I then bought one for my wife. I noticed on mine, when I take the ionic off the LED lights stop flashing however with my wife's ionic the LEDs are flashing constantly, even when she takes it off? Is there a setting to change my wife's to how mine is set up because I'm worried it's just going to drain the battery when shes not wearing it

Have you tried restarting the Ionic by holding the left button and bottom right button together for 10 secs?
After you try that, switch the Ionic back on and put it on your wrist until it detects the HR. Take it off of your wrist again to see if the lights now stop.

A few people have reported that the LED stays on, regardless of whether heart rate is on or off. My Ionic has the same behavior.
There is a feature suggestion to change this, so the LED turns off. Vote for it, and Fitbit may implement it.

Thanks mate, I believe this has fixed the issue. I restarted the watch then left it off my wrist and about after two minutes the lights stopped flashing.... I then put it on and I could see the lights start up again and when I took it off the lights turned off which is how my other watch works and I believe how it’s designed. Will monitor it but it’s been nearly 24 hours and so far so good.

Glad it worked for you, I had a similar experience with mine and these steps worked for me.
