Hi everyone
i saw a similar thread in regards to resting HR but is anyone experiencing extremely inaccurate measurements when exercising? I used to wear a Polar for many years before using the Ionic so I am pretty familiar with my HR ranges. Sometimes when I am just doing a warmup jog the HR will spike to 160-180 which I normally can’t even get to when all out running. I am worried this is causing my calories to calculate wrong as well. I try to shake my wrist to see if it will get a better reading and sometimes that works. Anyone else have any tips?
It is also telling me my VO2 max is in the fair to average range...which is not cool and makes me feel bad. I feel like i am forcing myself to like this thing when I really don’t.

The stock 'fixes' are to move the tracker higher up your wrist, snug up the bracelet, wet the skin under the sensor. Those didn't work for me but switching arms seemed to do the trick.

Thanks. I will try switching arms when I workout.
