@SunsetRunner I hope you're doing well! Thanks for sharing the experience you are having with the connection between your Ionic and Huawei Honor 7a.

The problem is that the Huawei Honor 7a is not a compatible device. You can check the list here.

The developer team is aware of the need to add new devices to the list of compatible devices. There are some users who can synchronize/use all features with non-compatible devices. If your phone meets the requirement of Minimum Supported OS (Android 5.0 Lollipop), you can try the tips on this helpful article about notifications.

Note that we don't guarantee that the connection will be successful as we are still testing on this phone model.

You can also create a Feature Suggestion asking for this phone model to be added. There is currently only one for Huawei Honor 7 compatibility.

I already know that phone is not compatible but all fitbit like to do is go running behind its compatibility list instead of making their compatibility list bigger or informing people of this list before they buy the fitbit devices most of the phones are old on that compatibility list fitbit need to pull its figure out and become compatible with these newer models no wonder so many people are moving away from fitbit

@SunsetRunner Thanks for your reply and for sharing your feedback. More device added to the compatibility list would be great.

This is why is important for you to create a Feature Suggestion asking for this. Other users can vote for it and support the idea. We can also see how many users want this to be added.
