I have recently moved from Fitbit Blaze which I was delighted with especially the voice prompts at 1k intervals when I was out on a run. Now I have a new Fitbit Ionic which means that I can go for a run with out the need to carry my phone. BRILLIANT! But I do miss the encouragement that I used to have with the voice prompts. Does anyone else miss this feature?
Firstly can you confirm that they are not a feature on IONIC and secondly are there any plans for FITBIT to add them to the IONIC with future software releases.
Many thanks.

The Ionic has no speaker so that would no be possible to add. I never had a Blaze but assume it used the phone's speaker for that.
But with the Ionic, you can use the lap setting to get alerts (vibrations I assume) every preset interval of distance, time, or calories. When you select 'Run' from Exercise Shortcuts, click the gear icon to set this up.

Thanks for the reply, I use wireless headphones both with the Blaze and ionic. But I guess the prompt was sent from the fitbit app on the phone for the Blaze, although you would have expected that the ionic would be able to send the prompts to the headphones attached!

@Bankfield88 It sounds like you were using the Fitbit app to track your runs with your Blaze and not the Exercise feature of the Blaze itself. The Fitbit app is the only tracking feature that has voice prompts. No Fitbit device gives voice prompts from the device. Fitbit devices can only give vibration feedback.

Thanks LZeeW.
Yes I think I can understand your comments and now I have discovered the interval prompts on the watch it is a close substitute.
