Any idea on why my Ionic all of the sudden won't sync to my iPhone app.  Just started today (7/18/20).

@BenneyPontenova @71Demon It's nice to see you on the Community. Thanks for getting in touch about this.

Please try the following troubleshooting:

- Go into your phone's Bluetooth menu > tap on the icon next to your Fitbit device
- Press forget this device

From there you're able to re-establish your Bluetooth connection between the Ionic and app by opening your Fitbit app and pulling down on the screen to force a manual sync. From there, the system notification for Bluetooth pair authorization should appear, tap pair.

To better assist you, please let me know the OS installed on your phone.

I'll be around if you have any additional questions.

I have been trying to pair and sync my Ionic since 7/15 after the update to the tracker.  I noticed that my Ionic time function was running 10-20 minutes slow. I have tried to sync numerous times during the day.  Sometimes it works.

I called support and ran the IOS update as suggested.  Deleted the Fitbit App as suggested. Still the Ionic won’t stay paired and won’t sync.  I have restarted my ionic numerous times, Forget the device on Bluetooth, have removed the Ionic from the Fitbit App, deleted the Fitbit app/reloaded on my IPhone and the phone still can’t find the Ionic. Frankly, I’m tired of messing with it...  I’ve had 2 Ionic Trackers. The first one “died” after 20 months.  This software problem is giving me a headache...

@71Demon,

Force Stop the Fitbit app within Android. Settings>Apps & Notifications>Fitbit. Click on it and hit Force Stop. Back out and restart the Fitbit app and try syncing again. Swipe down or go into your login (top left) and sync from within there. It may take a dozen or 20 times to actuate a successful sync. It should eventually sync though.

Unfortunately, sometimes you just have to hold your mouth right when trying to get the app to play nice.

😁
