Ionic Replacement

Read a lot of messages on here about Ionic's simply dying.  Mine did the same last week.  60% charged, normal usage, screen protector, dead!  One year old but I'm in the UK (2 year warranty)

Lots of talk about whether this is happening a lot and a number defending fitbit.  I have enjoyed mine but gutted when it stopped working.  It seems it is happening loads unfortunately......

I can say that because following a couple of formality questions from support I was offered a complete replacement and don't even have to send back the defect!  Just encouraged to recycle as per local rules.

I like my Ionic but worry this product range is riddled with issues.  At least they sorted a new one ASAP!

Glad to hear you are getting a replacement, @PeteDK. Fitbit stands by its warranty. Personally, I’m a big believer in extended warranties for all electronic devices and where appropriate, I pay with my AmExp card which automatically doubles most warranties.
