I am soooooo frustrated! This is my very first FitBit. I was going to buy the Blaze but when I heard the new Ionic was being launched I held off as I loved the idea of being able to listen to music instead of carrying round extra equipment.
I've had the watch since yesterday and although everything is working I simply cannot get it to sync to my MacBook Air! All the apps are working on my phone, my bluetooth and wifi are fine. It's just constantly saying Syncing Your Fitbit, this may take a few moments. It's been hours now and still hasn't done it. In fact I left it on overnight but when I woke up the screen had blacked out and the FitBit connect had disconnected so had to start over again.
Can anyone please help? I've just ordered a wifi dongle in the hope that this works but if not I'm definitely returning and buying a Blaze or even a Garmin. £299 is a LOT of money for just a watch!

So what are you trying to sync to your Macbook?
The way I see it is you connect your Ionic to your Phone let it sync with the phone, the phone syncs with Fitbit online and that gets reflected on the Macbook when you log on to fitbit.com dashboard
