Is anyone else with the Fitbit OS 3.0 update able to get water added on the ionic via the today app to sync with the dashboard? i can add all the water I want on the ionic, but it never syncs. Water I add via the dashboard shows on the ionic, but not the other way around.

After 2 days stuck saying this....I uninstalled yesterday & downloaded Ionic Water. Same issue but just a minute ago it connected to phone & synced. Wish there was a way to change default oz's & customize oz's.

@DeeHoward Welcome to the Fitbit forums! Thanks for trying those steps in order to sort this out and for sharing all of those details regarding the Water Logged app. I'm glad to read it finally synced.
Please feel free to send your feedback to the developer of this app so they can better your experience with it. Follow the instructions on this post in order to do this.
See you around!

Hi Brian,
I am very happy with ’Ionic Water’, it is an excellent app, response to input is quick and new day works correctly as opposed to ‘Water Logged’ which has serious problems on my Versa. Unfortunately it has one problem in common with ‘Water Logged’ and that is it won’t work correctly with Millilitres. We use Millilitres in this country and I have my Fitbit default settings set to this. I have reluctantly changed my Fitbit settings to Fl Oz but can live with this so I can use the app.
Is this a problem that is fixable in the app or is is due to Fitbit OS which I suspect it is due to the fact it is present in both?

Welcome on board @SunsetRunner, it's nice to see you here! Tap Water and enter the number of ounces you want to consume per day. If you want to log cups or milliliters instead you can do so on fitbit.com.
I'll be around if you need further assistance!

@SunsetRunner I would contact the developer of the app, they may have insight into whether MLs can be made an option

Thanks for pointing this out @Rich_Laue! With third party apps, note that Fitbit doesn't own or maintain third party integrations. It's up to the owner of the third party app to implement or update features for their app so in this case is recommendable to contact the third party developer to learn more about future implementations.
To contact the developer please open their app on the Fitbit App Gallery, scroll/swipe down and under "App Details" you will find the information.
See you later and stay awesome @SunsetRunner!

After initial problems trying to use Ionic Water on Milliliters I switched both the watch app and and the Fitbit app to Fluid Ounces and everything has worked perfectly for a week. Two days ago I switched back to Milliliters on both and now I find Milliliters are working perfectly perfectly with no other changes made by me. I am very happy with this app.
Thanks to the Fitbit Community for making me aware of this app.

@Gregerator Welcome to the Fitbit forums! Thanks for taking the time to share the experience you have had with the new feature to log water on Ionic.
This is odd as the water you log on the Ionic should show on the dashboard once you sync. Please try the following:
Check if the water logged on Ionic will show then. Also, make sure your watch is syncing correctly.
You could also perform a restart on Ionic and try the water feature once again.
Hope this helps. Keep me posted!

hey Santi, thanks for the reply. I performed the logout - restart - login procedure, and also restarted my ionic. My watch is syncing correctly - the icon is green and it shows synced. However, neither water nor weight (noticed that this morning) is syncing over. I know I logged it correctly on the ionic because it has the "logged as of" screen on both water and weight, but they aren't showing up in my dashboard.

Hi, Santi and @Gregerator, well, I did all the steps you suggested. Water still doesn't show up on the Fitbit app. However, everything else does - weight, sleep, exercise days, etc. Just water. I give up.

I use 'Ionic Water' and it works fine, wonder if now it appears in the Today App on the update if the third party apps have stopped working?

Got the today app update to the "c" version this morning. Water logging still does not work.

I am experiencing the exact same thing, water logged on the watch only shows on the watch no logs syncing to the app. All the other stats are syncing fine.

Have you tried weight? if so, is that one syncing okay? That one is not working for me either.

I just added an entry to test, it is not showing up either.
Can anyone confirm adding a water entry from the Ionic syncing to the app?

@Gregerator @Purrstachio @spacehorse I hope you're doing well and thanks for your replies on this thread! Thanks for also sharing the details about the situation you are experiencing with the water logged on Ionic not updating to the dashboard.
Please try to force quit the Fitbit app. This could help you out to get this sorted.
Try this out and please let me know the results. Thank you!

This did not work. Water being logged on the ionic is still not being synced to the dashboard.
