Is anyone else with the Fitbit OS 3.0 update able to get water added on the ionic via the today app to sync with the dashboard? i can add all the water I want on the ionic, but it never syncs. Water I add via the dashboard shows on the ionic, but not the other way around.

It was working. Now I see that even if I log the water on my phone directly in the Fitbit app, it is never recorded. The running total is 0 no matter how I log it. It must be a problem in Fitbit’s end.

Please respond, Fitbit. Water logging is very important to me for specific health issues.

@dxbce I hope you're doing well! Thanks for sharing the experience you have had with Ionic water logging.
For the third party apps you are using to log water, but are not working; I'd recommend uninstalling and reinstalling them. If that does not work, please send your feedback to the developers.
Regarding the Fitbit app, I'd recommend logging out from it, rebooting your phone, and logging back in. That should help on getting the water logged there.
Now, as this topic suggests, have you tried the new Water tile under Fitbit Today's app? It was just recently added with the OS 3.0. Please try using it and let me know if your water updates this way.
Keep me posted!

@Tim26O Welcome to the Fitbit family! Thanks for sharing your experience with the Water tile.
Is it just the Water tile that is not syncing? I will send your report. Will let you know once I have any updates about this.
Thank you and Happy Holidays!

From what I've attempted yes. Steps, sleep, heart rate all sync. Just not water. I haven't tried weight or food. Thanks!

Having the same issue, where it is not syncing from the iconic to the dashboard.
Though I have noticed if you update the dashboard the data syncs down to the iconic device.
Looks like a one way sync is currently enabled.

So far water intake and weight don't sync to the app.
Vice versa the values from the app are shown on ionic.
Synchronisation works fine.
Tried all without success

I have the same problem with my Ionic and Android app. What I noticed is that after logging water intake on my Ionic, and then syncing it with my Android, the Windows 10 app (on my computer) shows the correct amount. So, the server is getting the update from the Ionic, but the Android app isn't, unless I log out and back in. It seems to me that the bug is with the Android app...it properly uploads the update to the server, but doesn't update itself, and doesn't know to pull the fresh data from the server.

Logging out, turning off the phone, then logging in again makes me able to log water within the app. I have had to do this two days in a row because it stopped logging water again. However, water logged in the 3 apps on the ionic doesn't sync to the tile in the ios app. But the two ionic apps that show the total amount drank for the day are correct.

Having the same issue. Data entered into the Ionic is not reflected in the app. Still having to log water manually with my phone, which is available to view in the Ionic (so data goes one way but not the other). I've done the various tricks mentioned above with no luck.
Please push a hotfix. This isn't a showstopper, but it's not what I'm paying for either. Data is useless if it's imprecise or imprecise.

I'm having the same issue. If I catch it before trying to log water again and/or before the day rolls over, logging out of and back into the app will pull it. But if I log water again or the day rolls over, I'm SOL.

I have to log in and out in a regular basis to reactivate water logging. It’s getting old.

Here's a new one. Syncing is still intermittent but today I've added 500ml of water via the Today app which has appeared in my dashboard as 14768.8ml, absolutely no idea why...

I have a ionic with new firmware. I am trying to log water on watch but when I sync to app it doesn't log on app. I called fitbit they said it maybe a app. software issue. Anyone having this issue.

Yep, there's a bunch of us. You can try logging out of and then back into the app, sometimes restarting the app helps, and sometimes when you go look at your dashboard if you actually go into the day it will click.
