Ionic Won't Pair w/ Headphones

I bought a pair of Soundcore Spirit X headphones, but they won't pair with the Ionic. It sees them, but I always end up with a "Connection Failed" error message. Any ideas?

If the Spirit X's are already paired to a device, forget the previous device before you try to pair them with the Ionic. Other than that, mine worked fine.
