When I received my ionic several years ago, I also purchased the Big Weather Face from Dark Sky. I no longer get the weather, or a picture of the weather. “Waiting for weather sync.....”. I have tried resets and deleting/reinstalling the face.

Thanks for the troubleshooting tried and the details mentioned. I would like you to make sure you've tried the following procedure and check the weather app on your watch.
- Confirm weather app is setup correctly
- Verify app is up to date in Fitbit Today
- Manually sync your Ionic
- Follow the syncing troubleshooting
- Leave the app running in the background
