MyFitnessPal counts only my steps. Exercises are not listed separately. Is it a bug or is it normal?

That's normal behaviour. Your fitbit calorie adjustment that you see in your myfitnesspal diary will include any calories you've burned during workouts/exercise as well as your daily burn.
