since i bought this watch it has not been able to sync correctly or sometimes at all. Was in issue in November and was told they're working on it. Called today and got the same response. Then was insulted to receive an email with a solution that is as generic as the manual! Who else has this issue and is there a solution? What a scam:(

Some have reported an issue with syncing to Android phones. It is not specific to S8 and I believe is being worked upon. However I regret I use iOS, so am unable to comment further.

At least you've got the only Android from 2017 officially supported...
I had big issues with the sync when I got the Ionic but for about a week the sync works fine (unfortunately, notifications stopped to work). I've gone through the whole set of tips like delete the app, reset the Ionic and re-run the setup. I've deactivated the WiFi function of the Ionic (did not enter a WiFi network at all) which seemed to solve the problem at least for me. A few days ago there was an update to the Android app which activated the persistent notification, which could also help in some cases. Sorry we can't give you a specific hint, but perhaps you can try some of these to see if it helps.
