I have EOZ Bluetooth earbuds, 2 different pairs and both pair with music cut out with the Fitbit Ionic while I run.
I tried switching hands... did not help, still cuts out.
I took the time today to factory reset the Ionic back to factory and put all my music on and left everything else as it comes out of the box from the factory for the Ionic.
right now, I am typing this with the earbuds connected to the Ionic, but I can get on the trampoline and run in place and it will cut our, I can take the Ionic off and place on the desk, while still have the earbuds playing with no skipping or cut out.
also, I can connect the EOZ earbuds to my iPhone and put in my pocket and it works great.... but I don't want to carry the phone at all while I work out.
hopefully, tech supports sees this post and gives me a solution.
thanks
Dick

Any news? Having the exact same problem with my Samsung earbuds. Podcasts cut out after 10 mins when running. Fine when not using my Fitbit.

I'm having the same issue, but worse. During my run this morning my ionic kept resetting itself when I had my headphones connected via Bluetooth. It happened a few times with my old headset and it's just getting worse. If I don't have my headphones connected it will track my run fine, but a few minutes after connecting my headphones it resets. Even if I'm not listening to music.

Yes I sorted it. For me the problem lay in the codec used on my phone for bluetooth.

I am having same issue 10 month after issue was reported. My Ionic cuts off and on constantly unless the headphone are within a foot of the Fitbit.

I have the same issue, and I believe it has something to do with any device with new Bluetooth technology, I.E., Bluetooth 5.) or later. The many earbuds I have tried all connect without an issue and work with the smartphone, but while walking and leaving the wi-fi connection, it starts skipping and cutting in and out. I have no problem with Soundcore earbuds with a lower Bluetooth, but when I try to use my Jabra Elite, L.G. Tone 8, and Oladance with Bluetooth 5, I have the issue.
