Ionic band falls off

Just opened the box to my new Ionic last night. After setting everything up I awoke in the middle of the night with the watch band completely removed from the watch face. Looks like the connection between the band and watch face is weak. Is this something that can be easily fixed?

Try pushing the band on until you hear a definite click. This is not an area that often comes up as a problem.

Thanks, Nelly. Unfortunately, I have tried that and the band keeps falling off. I hear the click, but the band can be pulled right out...

Ive had my Ionic for two weeks and the band detaches from the face of the watch multiple times each day. It is the large band that came with the watch. The pin clicks when I reinsert it but with little force, it falls off again. Based on the comments I've read, this seems to be a design issue and not a one off defect. Am I missing something?
