Ionic battery dying fast, charging cable not making contact

Battery life shortens within 3-6 months, magnet gets extremely touchy in the same time, you have to get it just right and not breathe to make sure it is still charging.  3rd Ionic since release due to this issue, please make a new charging cable for it that has a clip like charge2hr to line up magnet and keep it secured to watch for proper charging. Thank you

Please try these tips to improve the battery power on Ionic. This should help you out to get more out of the battery power.

 

Also, I was checking the Feature Suggestions Board and was able to find a similar idea about the charging cable for Ionic:

 

It is asking for something very similar as you. However, it was marked as "Not Currently Planned".
