Ionic battery falls off cliff followed by zero recharge ability.

A couple of times, my Ionic Adidas edition stated that it had 90%+ charge and then when I next looked at it the whole watch was off... The first time, I plugged it in to recharge it and the screen stayed black. After 24 hours or so, I pressed the ON button and it displayed the Fitbit logo and started up again. I left it to charge to 100% and then used it. Within 24 hours again the device was completely dead and off.It would not switch on (by pressing and holding the single on button) and it would not recharge. In desperation, I have just purchased a new and official £12.99 Fitbit Ionic charging cable (an insane price, BTW) and plugged it in. WIthin seconds the device displayed a fitbit logo and then stated zero percent charge. around 3 minutes later I saw that the device was on and running at 93% battery charge?!?! Something is really not right here.

And within 20 hours the watch is off again and will not restart. 😕

As an FYI, the Ionic will not restart. I am guessing that the battery has failed. My daughters Ionic (Non-Adidas) also stopped working a couple of weeks ago. Just for extra info, she has her own charger, etc. Her failure is different to mine. In her case, despite there being a green light out the back of the watch, it does not register a HR or steps, even after multiple restarts and factory resets. Can someone please bump me to the RMA process (for both watches), asap?
