After an update last week my Ionic’s battery is draining unusually fast! Before the update I’d charge it about every 5 days or so. Now it lasts a maximum of 2 days. Is this a known issue?
Installed version is 71.6.19.

Hi @TinaF13, welcome to the Community Forums.
Thanks for bringing this to my attention. Let me share with you that the battery of our Ionic was designed to last 5 days, but this also depends on how frequently you use all the features of your device. That said, I recommend you charging your Fitbit device with a USB port from a computer or a UL-certified outlet into the wall and then turn off all the features that you don’t use that much.
After following the above information, please check this help article for more tips and recommendations. This article includes a restart process that will refresh the device's performance.
Let me know if further assistance is needed and if you have any additional questions.

I’ve used this Ionic for a while and had Charge before that. I know how to properly charge it and such. This was something that changed over night after the previous update.
Before that I’d only charge very 5 days. After the update it’s a max of 2 days between battery depletion. I always let it charge to 100% using proper charging cabel and UL-certified outlet. This has not changed. Day to day use has also stayed the same.
But after the previous update, the battery depletes much more quickly than before... I have restarted the Ionic but that did not help.

I have the exact same problem. No issues for the past 12 months, always had 4-5 Days from a full charge, barely use the GPS.
Now even after turning off nearly every feature of the watch, resetting multiple times, even factory resetting, i get just over 1 day from the watch.

I have too gone from 4-5 day batter life to having to charge it every third day. I figured it was because the spo2 sensors are now active.

I’m experiencing the same issues. My habits and usage have stayed the same but my watch can’t last more than 48 hours.
