Ionic battery life not lasting and not syncing

Ive had a fitbit ionic for about 2 years and love it but its started to lose battery power faster used to last for ages not loosing power all the time. When it is charged it doesnt seem to sync automatically with my phone and shows wrong time and doesnt record steps correctly . For the money you pay for them you would hope they lzst longer than 2 years

First, I appreciate your effort and patience for troubleshooting this situation before posting over here, I understand how frustrating this matter can be for you. If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check how the syncing procedure works here and see if there's a missing requirement on your mobile device that's preventing the syncing procedure to be completed.

 

Then, you can move forward and try the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: Why won't my Fitbit device sync? and let me know how it goes. In regards the battery drain issue, can you please elaborate? Please share with me as many details you can so we can move on.
