Done factory reset. It is 2 1/2 years old. Is that all I can expect? Can I trade it in?

Hi @KalolaE, welcome to the Community Forums!
Thanks for bringing this to our attention. Let me share with you that the battery of our Ionic was designed to last 5 days, but this also depends on how frequently you use all the features of your device. That said, I recommend you charging your Fitbit device with a USB port from a computer or a UL-certified outlet into the wall and then turn off all the features that you don’t use that much.
After following the above information, please check this help article for more tips and recommendations. This article includes as restart process that will refresh the device's performance.
Let me know if further assistance is needed and if you have any additional questions.

Hi, I have the same issue. The battery for the last few day have only last serveral hours. I havechanged any setting it used to last 5days as you said. The fitbit app on my phone tell me I have an update. I do the update and it reboots but tell me I still have the update to install 27.70.8.0. The firmware on the watch is 27.70.8.0. It say it needs to calibrate plug in the power cable I do this it fails. The green led don't light up on the back and and the steps arn't being counted. The watch is syncing with the app.

I'm not sure I will. This isn't the first time this has heppened when they have pushed an update. If I want a watch that last only a day I would have got an apple watch 😉
