Hi @Becky1996, welcome to the Community Forums.
Thanks for bringing this to my attention. Let me share with you that the battery of our Ionic was designed to last 5 days, but this also depends on how frequently you use all the features of your device. That said, I recommend you charging your Fitbit device with a USB port from a computer or a UL-certified outlet into the wall and then turn off all the features that you don’t use that much.
After following the above information, please check this help article for more tips and recommendations. This article includes a restart process that will refresh the device's performance.
@Ericws Thanks for your post. To better assist you with your concern, can you please elaborate? In which way is your Ionic not working anymore? Is it not syncing? Its battery life is not lasting as well or not charging at all? I'll be waiting for your reply.
Let me know if further assistance is needed and if you have any additional questions.

Ricardo-
I plugged it into the computer to recharge 10 days ago. It was at about 40% battery or so, and I planned to go on a 4-mile run the next morning. When I checked on it an hour later, it was dead. Unresponsive. i tried the 2- and 3-button resets, and it remained unresponsive. I let it stay plugged in to charge over night, and next day it remained unresponsive. There is no sign of any activity in the Ionic. Just dead.
Suggestions?

RicardoFitbit- it is completely unresponsive. I connected to computer to charge when it was at 40%. It ceased all functionality. I have tried all suggested methods to wake it up.

Ricardo, my Ionic started consuming all battery in about 2 hours. The screen turns on by itself eve when I'm not wearing the device.
Any ideas?
Bill

Mine is doing the exact same thing. Hopefully I will get an answer here or from the online chat.

Hi Ricardo, I've own my Ionics for 2-3 years. I'm use to charging it about every 4 days. In the last month, I noticed, it's drained after about 3 days. In the last 10 days, I've noticed it's draining about 2 days and now it's about 1 day. No activity changes, so is the battery exhausted? Do I need a new battery? Can the battery be changed?
