Ionic battery stays at 0%

I had issues with the touch screen not working for a couple of weeks. I charged my ionic to 97% and less than 3 hours later it was dead. I placed back on the charger and still says 0%. It will sync when on the charger but when disconnected it dies. Tried the live help but that only lasted for a minute and then disconnected from them. I bought this in September.
