Hej guys, I recently bought a fitbit Iconic. The first week was awesome. Everything worked as intended and I only had to charge it once. But since 2 days the Ionic wont even last a day and drained completely overnight! I use the stock clock face and have only activated phone call notifications.
Ive read nearly all threads to this topic, but neither of the "solutions" worked. Neither factory resetting, nor reinstalling the app and unpiaring the device worked. Is there something else I can do? I bought it mainly to track the walks with my newborn baby and it really sucks that I cant do that right now.

@SomeGermanDude taught me these steps. You may try and might work for you;
1. unpair the ionic, reinstall the app und remove the ionic in your mobile phones Bluetooth Settings. Than reinstall the fitbit app, pair your ionic anew.
2. Do the above while also factory reseting your fitbit.
My ionic last only 4 months😥

After a firmware update that stopped (froze) during the update, I managed to do a restart and seemingly do a succesful update. The Ionic seemed to work ok, but then the battery startet to drain very fast. I noticed that it didn't record any steps/km but it showed a pulse (thank god for that 🙂 )
OK, I did new restart and now it showed an abnormal amount of steps and calories.
I have not tried to do a factory reset yet, but maybe thats the next step. But for med the trouble startet with software / firmaware update.

I have done all the steps. Unfortunately, my Ionic suddenly off while charging and now I can't open nor restart it anymore😔

How do you do a factory restart?

The same thing happened to me. I am so disappointed with Fitbit. After so many emails, they tell me that your warranty has expired. The watch does not last more than 18 months.
