I would also be interested in any helpful response. We had the same problem with my husband's Ionic at just barely over one year old, and had to get a replacement under service contract because - believe it or not - there is nobody we end users can pay to replace a battery. Unbelievable! I asked how we might be able to address this after the extended contract ends, and got no response whatsoever.
I do hope you get (and please share) a more helpful response.

A more helpful response is to look through a few previous pages of help on this issue. Months actually! ALL the info has been posted many, many, many times. Nothing new to add unfortunately. You don't need to read all 17,000+ posts, but perhaps a few pages worth. If the info isn't there or to your liking, or doesn't fix your problem then there is no help, other than contacting Fitbit support. But I can assure you, your issue - along with 90% of issues has been discussed ad nauseam throughout this forum!
Thread archiving is a wonderful thing. We should ALL use it more often!
