I’ve set the screen to manual

I’ve reset the device 

I only use the GPS for at most 1/2 mile a day.(15 minutes.). 

I do not use the device for streaming music. 

Is it normal to get a day to day and half between charges, kind of like an Apple Watch or should expect more?

You should be getting way more.  I have auto screen, heart rate on, and stream music daily for my 1 hr workout.  

 

I get 4 days per charge.
