Ionic button stuck and touch screen won't respond

My first Ionic died barely within warranty (wouldn't charge despite multiple cleanings).  The replacement is now dying.  The left button appears to be stuck (despite soaking/cleaning multiple times).  It sporadically pops up the dialog to program the left button.  At the same time, that renders the touch screen useless (which is annoying because I set my alarm to 3:30 am the day this happened).  I've cleaned the watch multiple times to no avail and done reboots and resets.  Now I have a watch that randomly buzzes and wakes me up at the wrong time, and only sporadically syncs.  I suspect the only response will be "here's a minor discount on a new watch". I am asking for support.  What should I do?  Unless the discount is huge, I am giving up on Fitbit watches.  Horrible tech issues and my experience with customer support has been less than satisfying.  Are these watched supposed to be disposable?  Suspect I am buying an Apple watch this week.
