Ionic calorie counter is recording bizarre numbers

I have a Fitbit IONIC

A few weeks ago it started counting my calories in the thousands. Sometimes the number is close to my steps which is likely a coincidence but it is posting calories burned in the thousands  (9000 to maybe 15000 per day) when it used to work just fine

@skiingCa Welcome to the Community. Thanks for letting me know that you noticed an increase on your calories burned.

I would like you to make sure your personal information is properly entered on your account. If your data is correct then restart your watch and continue monitoring the calories burned.

Let me know the outcome.

Thanks for the reply....I ended up doing an online chat with Fitbit and we discovered that my weight somehow got adjusted to about 1400 pounds so any exercise I did was burning tons of calories. Corrected and all good now.
