After a marathon or longer my Ionic stops counting the rest of the day. Why is it giving up?

Welcome to the Community @Chris-Lots. It's pretty weird that your Ionic stopped counting your data after the marathon.

I would like you to answer the following questions to gather more information:

- Is your Ionic not tracking any data?

- Is the Ionic's display turning on?

- What data are you seeing in your Ionic and app?

Keep me posted!

@SilviaFitbit So it still counts my heart beat and shows steps and time on the ionic as a whole. It’s just the calorie burned that stops. I finished a 50 mile run on Saturday and had burned 8,211 calories by 5pm and through the rest of the evening I never “burned” anymore calories; which would have been impossible.

The next morning all was was fine and started to count calories burned again.

Thank you for getting back and provided me with more details @Chris-Lots. I'm happy to hear that your calories burned started tracking again the next day.

This seems weird if you were wearing your Ionic, it should have added more calories burned than just the ones that you did in the marathon. You may want to restart your Ionic even though it's already tracking your calories burned.

I'll be around if you need further assistance.

@SilviaFitbit  I did restart my ionic a few times that evening and it made no difference.

Thank you for getting back @Chris-Lots. Hopefully the restart that you did is going to help your Ionic to continue working normally.

I'll be around if you have any other additional questions.
