Ionic can not track sleep stages since a few weeks

My ionic used to track sleep stages just fine up till a few weeks back.

Since past two weeks it is not able to read my heart rate consistently for sleep tracking. Hence showing simplified sleep tracking.

I tried cleaning heart rate sensor, removing and installing app again, changing the hand. Even adjusted the strap to fit it little tight. Nothing is helping.

I searched and found a lot of users are having the same issue. This can not be a misfit on my wrist that is causing this. There must be an app update which caused this.

Have you tried restarting your Ionic? If that doesn't work you could always try a full factory reset, you have nothing to lose at this point and that should rule out any software issues.

Tried restarting the device. Even did the system reset. The sleep tracking worked for one day. Back to simplified tracking.

This is exactly how I used to wear my watch before and sleep tracking worked just fine. There is something wrong in either watch or the software.
