Ionic can't pair to headphones Philips SHQ6500

Hi-  all of a sudden my headphones (Philips SHQ6500) stopped bluetooth pairing with my Ionic.  Ionic seems fine.  It can actually find the headphones as an available device, but no pairing is happening.

Any advice available?

It's great to see you around @Ericws. Thanks for letting me know about the headphones that you're trying to use with your Ionic.

I would like you to restart your watch and then try the procedure mentioned in this article: How do I connect Bluetooth audio devices to my Fitbit watch?

Keep me posted.

One thing I notice with my Bluetooth headphones is that I have to reconnect to it every time...not pair it, but connect.

It is in settings/bluetooth.

If your headphones are on and close, you just have to select it.

Hi Sylvia,

I did a restart and followed these instructions.  My Ionic was able to "see" the headphones, and the headphones were in pairing mode, but the Ionic just spun in trying to pair and never did.

Any other suggestions available ?  Thank you,

PS-  the headphones DID pair with my iPhone, so that means there is an issue with the Ionic, right?  Any suggestions, please?

Thank you.  I tried 2 experiments:

1- I tried to pair the Philips SHQ6500 to my iPhone.  They paired up fine.

2-  I bought a cheap, cheap pair of no-name headphones at a supermarket.  They paired with the Ionic just fine, and quickly.  Sound not too hot, but they work with Ionic.

So I can't figure it out.   Both the Philips and the Ionic work, but they don't work with each other any longer.  Weird?
