OK- have a level two message/ticket into Fitbit and they have told me they are investigating the issue.
Although I have a small number of songs on the ionic, on the the connect fitbit app, the app does not recognize all of my playlists. There is no option to scroll down or up but it just lists 4-5 playlists but not the ones I want to download.
I've reset the watch, reinstalled software and done everything that fitbit has suggested. I'ts been a couple of weeks and what I hear from FB is that they are "working on it".
Anyone out there have a workaround.
As much as I want to love this devise.. I think it is far away from "prime time". I question why FB released this without having a more stable, workable product. Although I am super patient, reading reviews and seeing how they respond and dont' really have a workaround, tell me this product is not as advertised.
Its very simple, how can I download the 300 - 400 songs you indicate are part of the functionality with out spending weekends trying to figure this out on my own. The first person who thinks about a response saying its an apple issue.. please just don't even bother.
#beyond frustrated with fitbit ionic

The music and podcast file types you can download to your watch depend on whether you use a PC or a Mac. Note that some older songs may not transfer due to copyright protections (known as DRM encryption).

Users are running into various blockers that are preventing a successful transfer. My friend @ErickFitbit has compiled them in this post, please check it out and follow his suggestions.
Hope that helps! Don't lose the hope, I'm crossing my fingers.
