My Ionic is suddenly not holidng it's charge, it is just over the 2 years old. For a product that costs over £250 - £125 a year for a watch seems excessive.........
Any solutions that actually work, I've tried restarting, it's now saying there is not enough power in the cable I am using - I have not done anything different to my watch, same apps, I use GPS every other day for a 5/6km run, don't use music.

I'm in the same boat. Granted, I'm on the move a lot, but I used to get a minimum of 4 days battery life, even with tracking my workouts. Now I'm having to charge it every 8-14 hours.
I've had it less than a year, and like you, I find a £200 watch with a 1 year life expectancy a tad excessive.

Thanks a lot. Yeh it has gone from bad to worse so much so the touch screen now no longer works. So annoying as up till now I liked it so much. Have now cancelled plans to buy my wife the charge4. Massively disappointed in fit bit
