@Sue1970 Welcome to our Fitbit Community. Regarding the charging issue that your Fitbit Ionic has experienced, I appreciate the time spent trying to get it resolved before contacting our forums.
In order to avoid providing the same information, let me know what troubleshooting steps you have tried. In the meantime, try the troubleshooting steps that are listed in this help article. This article may contain steps that you already tried but you can skip them and proceed with the rest.
After this, charge your Ionic for 2-3 hours and see if the issue gets fixed.
See you later.

I have the same problem. I cleaned it, didn't help. Got a new charging cord, and a new dock, neither helped. It charged to 100% a few days ago, but it dying faster and faster. Now it is showing 0%, even though on my phone app it says 12%. I can't even gef it to charge now, so it is not possible to do a reset. I had a blaze that died after 2 years, and now my ionic. I loved them both, but 2 years isn't long enough. I read a lot if the solutions suggested on the Fitbit forum, bug nothing has helped. 😥

TracyA13 I agree with you. The Ionic should last more that 2 years. I wonder why they don't make them like watches, phones etc so that you can change the battery. My battery was just fine until last week when Fitbit auto updated without me getting any warning. That makes me suspicious.

I watched a YouTube video on changing the battery, but I think I'm going to see how much it would cost to change it locally. I think the companies that repair cell phones might be able to help. At this point I'm hoping it is just the battery. Battery change requires a few small tools and silicone to reseal as well.
