Ionic charging ports damaged/deg

Hello,

Unfortunately, I am beginning to have some difficulty with charging my Ionic device. Recently, when I've connected my charging cable to the device, it makes a good secure magnetic connection, but does not charge. When I look at the back of the device, it appears that the issue may be my charging points.

The middle charging port looks to be missing (I think that this is a recent thing), and the left port looks like it has developed a small hole (like the size of a pinhole). The right port looks completely intact.

I've had my device for nearly 3 years, and have been very satisfied with it. I have not experienced some of the more common issues that have been described in the community. I'm guessing that there aren't really any hardware fixes for a device this old (it's way over warranty), but would be interested in replacing the device, if needed. I'd appreciate any help or assistance you might be able to provide.

Best,

Melanko

I have been having issues with my Charge 3 as well. All 3 dots on the back are looking like there are dots in them, it's not holding a charge like it used to I would normally charge it every 5 to 7 days now its every 2 to 3 days. I love my charge 3 and really don't want to replace it.

@Momof367 Welcome to the Fitbit Community. Thanks for the details mentioned.

I appreciate that you shared how you feel about this. I'd like you to follow these tips to extend your Charge 3 battery life. Would you mind attaching a picture of the 3 dots that you're seeing on the back of your tracker?

Hope this helps.
