Ionic compatible phones

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have purchased the ionic and its NOT compatible with my phone, which is the Samsung galaxy j7sky pro.  However, it's compatible with some 2014 versions.  Very frustrating.

I've been with Fitbit for a few years but this issue has made me seriously contemplate transitioning to the iPhone and Apple watch.

It takes time to test phones they come out with new ones all the time.

You really should check the compatible phone list before buying

None of my phones are on the 'compatible list' which hasn't been updated for four years for most phones.

It's quite nostalgic to read through the list 🙂

There is no Android phone that shouldn't work fully.

However this may need a little trial an error and you will probably find the work around on the Phones forum rather than on here.

You only need to look at the threads to see most connections come down to workarounds and trail and error anyway.

Good luck!

I just purchased an ionic and just found out that it's not compatible with my Samsung Note 8. I find this completely unacceptable since my Blaze was fully compatible with my Samsung Note 8. Fitbit should make it very clear to customers before they make a purchase which phones are not compatible with the ionic. It's an the.

I am beyond pissed. the customer service representative who reviewed the
products with me prior to the purchase, should have asked me what phone I
have and should have explained that my phone was not compatible with either
the ionic or the Versa.

I have a phone, tablet, mini iPad and macbook none are compatible.  On the verge of ridiculous.  They where all compatible with the Blaze.  Maybe keep a product till you get a compatible operating system on your new watches.

it wasn't that I didn't want to keep my blaze. It died and it was out of
warranty and since they're no longer in stock, the Fitbit people offered me
the ionic at a discount. Fortunately I found the blaze on Amazon and I'm
happy again

Sorry I meant FitBit should not put out new products until they are compatible.  I also had the Blaze and loved it,

The question is, why on Earth did they not make it compatible? it just
makes no sense. But I agree, The blaze is the best product out there so
far. Thanks for your reply!
