My ionic could not back on after shutdown but after several days, suddenly, it turns back on with battery level was 0% needs to be charged. It is normally charging until 100%, all the functionalities are fine, but when i perform shutdown process again thru setting, It could not back on again. I have to leave it to drainage the battery until 0% for several days so that it can back on again with 0% battery level.
Anyone can help me, please
Thanks

I have the same problem, it used to go back on after shutdown by touching the screen. No you have to do a Restart (and do it several times if necessary). Note the restart requires the use of the back button PLUS the bottom right button.

@budialok and @Sbronco Welcome to the Community.
Thanks for the details mentioned and the troubleshooting tried. It's pretty weird that your Ionic isn't turning on once you press the shutdown button.
In this case, I would like you to perform a factory reset and after this please try shutting down again.
I'll be around if you have any additional questions.

@SilviaFitbit, Thank you for your response, I have performed factory reset and it is still the same -- Could not back on after do shutdown process. I have to wait the battery level at 0% waiting for the fitbit back on by itself .. From there, the fitbit will be running well as long as i dont do the shutdown process again.
Thanks

@Sbronco , I have tried your suggestions and ionic go back on / restart after pressing back button PLUS the bottom right button. But it is not the way we normally used to do. Problem solved but still leave us such a glitch in my ionic for shutdown process. I hope fitbit will address this issues. however, I still love fitbit than other wearables :). Thanks @Sbronco

Thank you Silvia for your concern. I did as you suggested and did a factory reset. After a day or two, I shutdown and, again, I had the same problem. It doesn't go back on with just a touch of the screen. I have to do a re-boot (by pressing the back button and the lower left button together).
Please let me know if there is anything else you might think of that will help the problem.

Hello Sylvia,
I was unable to use my Ionic for about 5 months due to an injury. Recently I tried to use it again but found that it would not sync or connect to WiFi or bluetooth. I went through all of the trouble shooting suggestions without any luck.
as a last resort I have now tried to do a factory reset. I did this via the settings button on the watch. However it now will not turn back on.
from other posts it seems that I need to now leave it for a few days for the battery to run down completely and then it should come on.
is this correct and normal?
can you tell me if once going through this process if it should resolve the issue of connecting to WiFi, bluetooth and be able to sync?
thank you

Back in January 2020, I had a problem with my Ionic and I couldn't get it back on. This Forum helped me start it up again and it was fine (except the battery needed to be recharged more often) until last night. I had a charge about 70% and the watch just shutdown on its own. I cannot get it started again. I put it on the charger last night and when I picked it up this morning, it was warm from the charger but it still will not show any signs of life. Can you help me, or at least send me a coupon code to purchase a new one at a discount? Thank you.
