When I awoke this morning, I went to put by Iconic fit bit on and it had already registered 1,000 steps, why is this?

Welcome to the forums!

Is the Fitbit near a vibration source like a fan, dehumidifier, or even a computer CPU? It can see the vibration as steps and add false steps.

You can enter a driving record to get rid of them

I've tried adding a driving activity. The app doesn't seem to have the option at all. When I add it online, I can give the activity the name Driving, but it doesn't seem to subtract the false steps.
