My fitbit Ionic, which I LOVE, does unfortunately count steps while I’m riding my mountainbike. I think it is because the trails here are really bumpy, but I just hate the fact that my steps are counted when I take a bike ride. I always first select the training ‘biking’ before I do a trail, but my Ionic always counts a lot of steps during that training. Like, when I mountainbike for about 30kms, my Ionic counts about 10.000-15.000 steps. I wish this wouldn’t happen. Does anyone know how to fix thiss?

Welcome to the Community @WendyK98. Thanks for the detailed information shared.
I'm glad to hear that you're loving your Fitbit Ionic. Your watch will still track steps even when it's in activity mode for example biking. You can remove these steps by logging driving but this might also remove the data that was previously tracked.
If you would like that this data doesn't count, you may want to post your idea in our Feature Suggestion board. Those are reviewed by our team and the status will change based in Fitbit's plans.
Your understanding is appreciated, hope you can continue using your Ionic to track your exercises.
