Went for a swim in a river today, now my Ionic screens on the back have all steamed up and the main screen is dead, no response from anything, it was 100% charged this morning. Anyone have any issues of water getting in their device.

Interesting reading this part:
I was engaging in water sports with my wife and she destroyed my ionic whist giving me a shower.

Like all who wrote before, I now have a dead Ionic after a short swim in the sea yesterday. I have used in a pool before and also in the shower without a problem. But from what I read here and from my own experience, it seems the watches are non sea or salt water proof. I do like my watch, but sincerely suggest that fitbit either correct the problem or else issue a warning against wearing in saltwater. If I had known, it wouldn't have taken much to remove before going swimming. This is a refurb watch as my original broke apart face from rest of frame during warranty, seems the glue failed. once bitten twice shy as from what I read here, I expect the response I will get from customer service is a 25% reduction on a replacement device. So will now check out other brand of watches as a replacement. Sorry Fitbit... nice watches, just too many problems including resetting during charging, not synching properly, Oxygen measure only working intermittently.
