It is totally unacceptable that a software update has killed my Ionic and Fitbit are only offering a 25% discount on a new device! Fitbit's incompetence has cost me £200 as I will now need to go out and buy a new fitness tracker and for what? Because I updated my watch as advised to by Fitbit! It's fully ludicrous that FItbit think this is acceptable. This is your flagship supposedly premium product. No-one is going to remain loyal to Fitbit when they pull stunts like this. I'm gobsmacked by this latest failing. I thought the Surge was bad. My Ionic has never synced properly with my phone and now it has died after just over 2 years. Total joke from Fitbit yet again. I've been a customer for about 6 years but I'm done with you.

I thought the same thing happened to my ionic, but after researching...press all 3 buttons firmly for about 30 seconds and everything is back to normal. Worth a shot, hope it helps! 🙂

Yeah, I was pretty disappointed as well. My 2 year old Ionic got this firmware update and it ruined its battery life (5 days down to 15 hours!). FitBit doesn't want to own up to it, and has no suggestions on how to revert back to the previous version. I didn't ask for this "upgrade"!!
They offered 25% off to me as well. I promised to not spend a dollar more on a FitBit product from this day, until the end of my days!
