Ionic device is not pairing with my jaybird X2 headphones

I have an Ionic device and it is not pairing with my jaybird X2 headphones. It used to connect just fine. Now it's not connecting. It just continually says "pairing jaybird X2". I have done a restart on my fitbit ionic and on the jaybird headphones. When I go to bluetooth, if finds the jaybird, and I add it. But, it just never pairs. It used to work, so I don't know what is different now. I have the headphones on and in searching mode. I also tried connecting the headphones to my phone and this worked. I turn off the phone's bluetooth and then restart the ionic and the jaybird device. Then I try pairing to the Ionic, but still no luck. What do I do?

You might have to wait for the developers to iron this out, they are ste that some bluetooth audio devices do not want to be paired with the ionic and Versa

The only thing we're could suggest is to resist the ionic and headphone.

The funny thing about this is that the jaybird X2 wireless headphones worked fine with the Ionic device for several months. Then all of a sudden it stopped working and the devices did not pair. Why would that be? It's hard to "resist" the ionic and headphones after I've spent several hundred dollars on the items. Why don't they fix the problem. That would be a better solution.

Was the change around the time of three last firmware upgrade?

Interestingly, the pairing stopped working about a week before the last firmware update.  I was thinking it was the update that made the difference, but it doesn't seem to be (since it was a problem before the update happened). The last firmware update was a couple of months ago (I believe). I imagine I'd be prompted if another was available. Is there a way to check that?  I'll do a search and see what I can find concerning the updates.

Just did a search and it looks like the last firmware update was in December.  That is probably right.  So, the pairing stopped working about a week before that.  So, I've been without my wireless headphones for over 5 months.  It would be nice to get this fixed!

If it is related to the firmware update, is there a way to go back to an earlier version?  I'd rather do that, just to get the feature working again.
