Ionic died just hours after fully charging

My Ionic died last night, which was early because I'd just charged it a couple of days ago. This morning I fully charged it and it died just hours later. 

Why?

 

Anyone else having similar issues?

Try restarting you Ionic several times and fully charge it again. Let us know how you go

I restarted several times and fully charged it, as you suggested. It will now hold a charge for two days at most, whereas before it went five days.  

 

Two days is certainly better than less less than two hours, but it is absurd for it to last only two days. This Ionic is not very old and it shouldn’t be at less than half of what it was.
