Ionic died

I have been having problems with my Ionic over the last couple of days, firstly the problem was not counting floors, not a major issue as steps is my main goal, then tonight the screen became unresponsive, the side buttons all worked but nothing from the screen. Then after my walk tonight it suddenly flashed up 0% even though it had only been charged earlier in the day, now when I put it on charge it doesn’t seem to take charge and the unit just gets hot. This is only 2 months old. Not what I expect from a new Fitbit.

My ionic died last night, it stopped reading heart rates. Then I noticed it just went off - non responsive!

all I get now is a battery pic with 10% but the screen is black and nothing is working...

I am not impressed.

Linked to the firmware update, see that thread. It has affected a large volume of Ionic users. I have personally lost touchscreen response so effectively have a dead ionic which has been working fine since I got it. Let us know what Fitbit support say as they are not responding to alot of users.
