Anyone else have an ionic that lasted less than a year? Completely died. Then fitbit basically told me they didn't care. I will never purchase another fitbit. I had previously bought two versas, many ones, and a couple charge twos. We had a few problems with some of those. My kids love having the competitions. Unfortunately, the only thing worse than your products is your customer service.

Sorry you are having problems. May I ask how you are charging them?
See this thread for charging best practices. If you are not charging it correctly you could be damaging the battery

Yes. My Ionic was new out of the box in July of 2019. Blanked in the middle of a run today, one second I'm listening to tunes, next second link is down. Looked at the watch, blank. Went completely brick mode on me with no warning; won't respond to any keys, won't sync, screen is blank, totally dead, no amount of charging will bring it back to life. Wore it a lot but took good care of it - Even though you are supposed to be able to swim with it I didn't even take the thing into the shower.
I researched a little more and found instructions for doing a hard reset - press and hold the left and bottom right buttons for about 8 seconds, until the logo comes on. Seemed to shock it back to life, will see if it happens again.

This past weekend we decided we were done with Fitbit products, for this reason. I’ve been a loyal Fitbit user since 2011, and in 2020 I’m on my 5th device, including replacements I’ve gotten when original purchases broke under warranty. My ionic, the 5th and last Fitbit I’ll own, was a 40% off coupon replacement after my Charge HR exploded on my wrist at the beach. Yep, you read that right. I loved the ionic. Until one month over the year anniversary, it died and wouldn’t charge again. Cleaned all the ports. Trouble shot everything Fitbit customer service suggested. Kept it clean to begin with, really, so this happening was bizarre to me. And the punch in the gut was that Fitbit could only offer a 25% off coupon on any other product since it’s out of the year limited warranty. Sorry, I’m refusing to spend another $300 for one more product that won’t last a year. It’s a shame, but I don’t see anything changing- they just don’t last. I could’ve bought 2 Apple watches for the money I’ve spent and wasted on fitbits over the years.
