Purchased a Fit Bit Ionic to replace a lost Samsung Gear Fit 2. Thought I would try something different despite liking the gear fit 2 (other than the dodgy wrist band attachment). I have to say, I am not impressed with Ionic when considering the price. It is much more expensive than the Gear Fit 2 and seems to have far less functionality - i.e. inability to respond to smartphone notifications. It also seems impossible to put music on the **ahem** thing without a pandora account. These were both features that the gear fit did exceptionally well....
Wishing now that I had saved some money and bought a new Gear Fit 2 instead.
Come on Fitbit - don't advertise this as a smartwatch - it clearly falls short of this. The Gear Fit 2 is not a smart watch and it did more smart watch functions than this.
A new fit bit customer, likely to be my last....

Sorry it isn't working out for you, @lorrainehutch. If you purchased it directly from Fitbit, you have 45 days to return it for a refund. If you purchased it from an authorized retailer, you would have to check with them to determine what their return policy is.

Thanks - I was not aware I could do this and it is useful to know. I'm going to continue with it and try out the other features to see how it stacks up and hope that fit bit issue an update at some point to rectify the issue.....
