I don't know if anyone else is having trouble with this update or with their fitbit, but hopefully you guys have some advice that is better than what I've been given.
So I have been trying to update my Ionic to the new OS 2.2 update and, so far, my Ionic disconnects from the wifi that its using and the bluetooth to my phone as it just finished downloading the update and right when it starts installing the update. I don't understand why it does this, but I've restarted/ rebooted my ionic several times, set it back up to my phone several times, and yet my ionic still won't fully install this update. When it disconnects from my phone and the wifi, its starts blinking fitbit logo over and over again. I don't know what that means and I'm tired of doing the same thing hoping its gonna change when I do it another time.
Please help!!!

Welcome on board @Lauren_Howie, it's nice to have a new member around! Thanks for the steps you took in order to sort this out, nice way to go!
Before you begin the firmware update, make sure your watch is plugged into the charger and in range of your Wi-Fi network during the update. For best results, use your home or work Wi-Fi network. If the firmware update failed, you may see this image on your watch's screen:
Follow the troubleshooting steps below based on your issue to resolve the problem.
As mentioned above, if your watch isn't sufficiently charged before starting the update, you may see this image on your screen:
Wait until the battery is at least 40% charged to start the update and keep your watch plugged into the charger. To check the battery level, tap the screen or press any button while the watch is charging.
If you have trouble updating your watch over Wi-Fi, try these steps to resolve the problem:
If the update failed, check to see if you have another Fitbit tracker or watch paired to your phone. If so, you must tell your phone to "forget" the device, removing the connection between the phone and the Fitbit device.
If you can't update your watch over Wi-Fi, follow the on-screen instructions in the Fitbit app to update your watch over Bluetooth instead. Note that firmware updates over Bluetooth may take significantly longer to complete.
Give this a go and let me know the outcome!
Was my post helpful? Give it a thumbs up to show your appreciation! Of course, if this was the answer you were looking for, don't forget to make it the Best Answer! Als...

I’ve already done this procedure and it still didn’t update.

I am having this EXACT same problem. Suddenly it won’t connect to my WiFi and flashes between the Fitbit logo and a giant red X when I try to update via Bluetooth. No matter how close I am to my router, WiFi won’t connect.
